Design Engineer - HFC / FTTx Network Design 📍 Location: Bengaluru 🕒 Experience: 2-4+ Years We are looking for a talented Design Engineer with experience in HFC and FTTx network design to support the delivery of high-quality telecommunications infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fiber optic network design, PON architecture, telecom drafting, and industry-standard GIS/CAD tools. Key Responsibilities Design and draft HFC and FTTx network solutions . Support the planning and deployment of fiber optic and PON networks. Utilize industry tools such as AutoCAD, SpatialNET, Smallworld, QGIS, ArcGIS, GeoStruct, and Lode Data . Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, and design guidelines. Review network architectures and develop design scenarios to support project delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver quality telecom infrastructure solutions. Support the development, evaluation, and integration of new design tools and processes. Required Skills ✅ Strong knowledge of HFC Networks ✅ Good understanding of PON and Fiber Optic technologies ✅ Experience with AutoCAD, Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS, SpatialNET, GeoStruct, or Lode Data ✅ Telecom network design and drafting experience ✅ Technical documentation and design standards experience ✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Experience designing and deploying HFC / FTTH / FTTx networks. Knowledge of telecom infrastructure, outside plant (OSP), and fiber deployment projects. Exposure to GIS-based telecom planning and network management tools. Experience supporting design tool development and process improvements.
