Title: Internship: GIS Support for the Implementation of a New Property System
Want to apply your GIS and property-related knowledge in a real system transition at a government agency? Naturvårdsverket is replacing its current property management system, and as part of this process, it needs to verify and supplement information about its buildings. As an intern in the Property Unit, you will help collect and quality-assure data on building conditions and geographic locations—while also experiencing the role of a case handler within a public agency responsible for property management.
About Naturvårdsverket and the Property Unit
Naturvårdsverket is Sweden’s central environmental authority, tasked with climate, biodiversity, and resource efficiency issues—and with implementing the government’s environmental and climate policies. Its work spans national, EU, and international levels.
The Property Unit belongs to the Department for Nature and Wildlife. It represents the state as property owner for national parks and nature reserves, and handles matters related to land compensation.
