Position
To strengthen our technical team in Rome, we are seeking a Junior Engineer/Architect dedicated to GIS (QGIS) design activities. The successful candidate will join a well-established and rapidly expanding Business Unit involved in managing major national framework contracts in the Retail and Oil & Gas sectors.
We are looking exclusively for professionals holding a degree in Engineering or Architecture and registered with the relevant professional order, who are eager to contribute to multidisciplinary projects integrating technical design, territorial analysis, and GIS tools.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of preliminary, final, and construction-stage projects.
Conduct territorial analyses and assess urban, environmental, and authorization constraints.
Digitize and update existing networks and infrastructure using QGIS.
Prepare technical deliverables, design drawings, site plans, and project documentation using CAD and GIS tools.
Draft technical reports and supporting documentation for design activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various projects.
Requirements
Degree in Civil, Structural, Environmental Engineering, or Architecture.
Active registration with the Engineers’ or Architects’ Professional Order.
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in technical design.
Proficiency in QGIS and core GIS tools.
Familiarity with CAD software for technical drafting and review.
Strong ability to prepare technical documentation and reports.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork orientation.
Active VAT number (Partita IVA).
Additional Information
Freelance collaboration under Partita IVA.
Daily fee: €120–€130 (excluding VAT and social security contributions), based on experience and competencies.
Assignment to high-profile national projects within a mature Business Unit.
