Junior GIS Specialist

Role Junior GIS / LiDAR Specialist focused on processing, classifying, and validating aerial LiDAR and point-cloud data, plus extracting and modeling utility assets such as power lines, conductors, poles, towers, vegetation, and ground features. Requirements 1–4 years of experience with LiDAR / point-cloud processing Hands-on experience with point-cloud classification and QA/QC Experience working with 3D spatial data and feature extraction from LiDAR Strong attention to detail; ability to identify data-quality issues Basic/intermediate GIS knowledge Nice to have Utility, power transmission, or distribution data experience Aerial LiDAR experience PLS-CADD, TerraSolid/TerraScan, or MicroStation Conductor/catenary modeling and clearance analysis Utility asset modeling or powerline mapping Location: Darwin, Australia (permanent / full-time).
