Map Generation Algorithm Engineer

Position: Map Generation Algorithm Engineer Job Description: Develop and deploy end-to-end AI-driven algorithms for automated generation of cloud-based maps (lightweight and high-precision); Implement topological vector map automation and closed-loop evaluation using core technologies such as Transformer and Bird’s Eye View (BEV) perception; Establish and optimize scalable map production workflows (training, evaluation, deployment) to improve automation and operational efficiency on production lines. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Surveying/Geomatics, or related fields; Prior experience developing Transformer- or end-to-end-based models (e.g., VMA, MapTr, Bevformer, BevFusion, DETR) is preferred; Familiarity with common map formats (e.g., Lanelet2, OpenDRIVE, Apollo, Autoware) and experience in map production at scale are advantageous; Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
