At Mapersive, we transform 360° imagery into structured geospatial intelligence.
Our platform helps organizations visualize, manage, measure, and extract insights from large-scale spatial data through cloud-native applications built for real operational use.
This is not a narrow frontend or CRUD-development role.
You’ll work across the stack, primarily building backend and frontend product features using Spring Boot and Angular , while also contributing to debugging, deployments, cloud workflows, system performance, and production reliability.
We’re looking for an engineer who can take ownership of features and understand how real systems behave end-to-end.
What you’ll work on:
→ Design and development of Spring Boot APIs and backend services
→ Angular workflows and geospatial data visualization features
→ PostgreSQL/PostGIS queries, optimization, and data modeling
→ Debugging issues across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers
→ AWS cloud workflows involving deployments, logs, storage, compute, and service integrations
→ CI/CD and release workflows
→ Writing clean, maintainable, and production-grade code
→ Performance analysis and technical troubleshooting
→ Contributing to architecture discussions and technical decision-making
→ Collaborating with the engineering team on planning, prioritization, and delivery
What we’re looking for:
→ 2+ years of professional full-stack development experience
→ Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
→ Solid Angular knowledge and the ability to deliver features independently
→ Strong SQL fundamentals; PostgreSQL experience preferred
→ PostGIS, GIS, or spatial data experience is a plus
→ Practical understanding of AWS or similar cloud environments
→ Experience working with REST APIs and distributed application architectures
→ Ability to systematically debug issues across multiple layers of a system
→ Strong attention to code quality, architecture, maintainability, and performance
→ Ability to take ownership of technical problems from investigation through delivery
→ Curiosity and willingness to work beyond a narrowly defined frontend or backend scope
Nice to have:
→ Experience with project management or technical project coordination
→ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
→ Experience contributing to sprint planning, task estimation, backlog refinement, or technical prioritization
→ Ability to help structure engineering work and follow features from planning through production
→ Experience with GIS, geospatial applications, point clouds, computer vision, or AI systems
