Mining Technician – Surveying

Job Description General Position Overview As a Mining Technician – Surveying, you will be responsible for collecting and processing survey data, as well as providing technical support for underground development activities. Under the supervision of the Engineering Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting underground and surface surveying operations Performing alignment marking for development, diamond drilling, long-hole drilling, cabling, construction, etc. Participating in survey data processing and drafting Contributing to the updating of the 3D geological model Assisting in the issuance and distribution of survey plans Performing laser scanning of sites or other tasks (e.g., CMS & GeoSlam) Supporting the survey verification process Monitoring and updating the jumbo drill software (Underground Manager) Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complying with all applicable standards, regulations, codes, and laws at Eldorado Gold and in Quebec Performing other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Desired Profile: DEC in Mining Technology, Mining Extraction option, or equivalent 1 to 3 years of relevant experience Proficiency in mining software (e.g., Deswik, Microsoft Office suite) Key Competencies: Adaptability Collaborative mindset Analytical thinking Attention to detail and rigor Safety orientation Planning and organizational skills Additional Information Working Conditions: Occupational Health & Safety (SST): - Sitting and standing work positions - Computer-based tasks - Indoor and outdoor work - Possible low-level exposure to gases/dust - Occasional exposure to noisy and humid environments Schedule: 7-day on, 7-day off rotation Posting Date: October 8, 2026 Application Deadline: October 29, 2026
