.NET Engineer - GIS & Geospatial @ Tech People Hungary

Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, or comparable. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in .NET Backend engineering and hands on experience with geo data. Proficient with geospatial .NET libraries (such as NetTopologySuite) for spatial data manipulation. Strong PostGIS experience, including spatial indexing (GiST), complex SQL geometric queries, and coordinate system (EPSG) transformations. Practical knowledge of GeoServer (REST API management, layer styling via SLD, and caching) and OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS, Vector Tiles). Experience building automated data pipelines utilizing GDAL/OGR via C# wrappers or command-line integration. Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken (C1-C2 Hungarian is an advantage). Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate good level of self-initiatives. Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure. Very good cooperational skills. Willingness to travel in Europe for business.
