The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Geology and demonstrate advanced environmental competencies, including practical experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and familiarity with environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in environmental monitoring and control activities Expertise in AUA (Valutazione di Impatto Ambientale – Environmental Impact Assessment) and AIA (Autorizzazione Integrata Ambientale – Integrated Environmental Authorization) Proficiency in statistical data management and analysis Experience in landfill facility design and planning Validity of degrees obtained under the former Italian university system (laurea vecchio ordinamento) Key Responsibilities Conduct environmental fieldwork and on-site inspections Utilize GIS tools for spatial data analysis, mapping, and reporting Support compliance checks and environmental control activities Contribute to environmental impact assessments and permitting processes Manage and interpret environmental datasets Participate in the design and evaluation of environmental infrastructure projects, particularly landfills
