Mission In the context of a newly created position, NEOGEO is hiring a Python Data/GIS Developer (H/F) to strengthen its team. As part of an innovation project supported by France 2030, we are developing a new technological component combining: An open-source Data Warehouse dedicated to geomatics, A geospatial ETL engine capable of reading, transforming, and loading spatial data, An AI pilot enabling automatic data processing via our chatbot, OneGeo Chat. You will join NEOGEO’s R&D Innovation department—a close-knit team where each member directly influences technical and scientific decisions for the project. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize Data Warehouse solutions, ETL pipelines, and innovative AI-integrated applications. Identify, qualify, and translate business requirements into appropriate technical solutions. Present, document, and share deliverables with all stakeholders. Explore and integrate emerging technologies in data, GIS, and artificial intelligence. Profile You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering or computer science and have at least 5 years of experience in Python development and GIS. You possess solid expertise in GIS and data science. Essential Skills: Python Django PostgreSQL and other database technologies Preferred Skills: Experience with generative AI and/or Large Language Models (LLMs) Curious and meticulous, you thrive on solving complex technical challenges in an R&D environment and can design robust solutions for emerging or complex issues. You are able to clearly articulate, present, and explain your work to diverse audiences. With strong interpersonal skills, you value teamwork and actively contribute to team cohesion and success.
