Remote GIS Officer

NatureSpace Partnership Ltd is hiring a full-time Remote GIS Officer to join its Data Team. Salary: £32,950 per year plus benefits (performance bonus up to 20%, pension, private health and life insurance, CPD budget). Working pattern: 4-day week (typically Mon–Thu), 32 hours; fully remote and flexible (UK right-to-work required; no visa sponsorship). Deadline: 12 October 2026, 5:00 p.m. (may close earlier). Interviews week of 2 November 2026. Responsibilities include managing the geospatial data lifecycle (source, process, QA, maintain, archive), maintaining spatial and tabular datasets and documentation, first-line GIS support, workflow improvement/automation, map outputs, and liaison with internal teams, partners and local record centres. Reports to the Senior GIS Specialist. Essential: degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science or related (or equivalent experience); QGIS or ArcGIS; geospatial datasets; strong data management and communication skills. Desirable: Master's in GIS; R/Python/SQL; wildlife conservation interest.
