Remote Sensing Image Algorithm Engineer

Company: GEESPACE Title: Remote Sensing Image Algorithm Engineer Job Responsibilities: Develop industry-specific application solutions for satellite remote sensing imagery; Conduct requirement research, analysis, and design for remote sensing image algorithms, and document the outcomes; Research and develop remote sensing image algorithms based on project-specific business needs; Lead research and development of AI-based remote sensing algorithms; Undertake other tasks assigned by management. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, or related fields; Strong foundation in signal and image processing, solid mathematical skills, and prior knowledge in pattern recognition or machine learning; Familiarity with characteristics of domestic and international high-resolution, hyperspectral, or SAR remote sensing data, with hands-on experience in processing such data; preference given to candidates with experience in satellite imagery product generation or actual project R&D; Proficiency in mathematical analysis and remote sensing/GIS software such as MATLAB, ERDAS, ENVI, and ArcGIS, including secondary development; At least one programming language (e.g., C, Python) mastered, with familiarity of open-source libraries like OpenCV and GDAL, and good programming practices; Strong learning ability, teamwork, communication skills, sense of responsibility, and ambition.
