Your Role
Strategic Consulting: Advise clients on the alignment and design of their IT infrastructure, acting as the key interface between business units and IT.
GIS Analysis & Optimization: Analyze existing GIS implementations and identify optimization opportunities.
Design & Conceptualization: Design, conceptualize, and configure GIS infrastructures and applications—including system consolidation, version upgrades, and introducing new solutions such as ALKIS, WebGIS, CloudGIS, and mobile applications. Define technology stacks and development environments.
Project Leadership: Take responsibility for part- or full-project leadership, manage project teams, and handle project controlling.
Pre-Sales Support: Contribute to acquisition and pre-sales activities, including proposal development.
Your Profile
Education: A degree in Geoinformatics, Geodesy, or a comparable qualification.
Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in Geospatial Data Infrastructures (GDI/GDM), preferably in a consulting environment, using at least one major commercial GIS platform.
Practical Skills: Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Server and Desktop, including configuration and administration.
Methodological Competence: Familiarity with methodologies and tools such as Agile Transformation, OCEB2 process analysis, IREB requirements engineering, ISTQB test management, and consulting methods (e.g., GAP analysis, Delphi method).
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of ALKIS, GDI/GDM, and strong market awareness of the geospatial industry.
AI Competence: Proficient in applying AI tools within your domain, critically evaluating results, and helping clients and adesso harness AI potential.
Language Skills: Excellent German and good English.
