Senior GIS Analyst

In this role, you'll help drive HEB's digital transformation by developing innovative GIS solutions that support the delivery of some of New Zealand's most significant infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams, clients and external partners, you'll turn complex spatial data into meaningful insights that improve decision-making and project outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you'll play an important role in building strong stakeholder relationships and helping grow GIS capability across the business. Based in Auckland or Wellington, you'll also visit projects across New Zealand approximately 2-3 days per month to support our teams on the ground. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR As a Senior GIS Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS applications, managing spatial data, delivering analysis and insights, and supporting digital infrastructure and digitisation initiatives across the business. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver practical geospatial solutions that create real value. You'll also support GIS integrations, champion best practice, contribute to capability development, and help ensure HEB remains at the forefront of digital innovation within the infrastructure sector.
