About the Role
Description
Lead the delivery and implementation of ArcGIS Utility Network projects for electric, gas, and water utilities.
Provide technical leadership for GIS modernization, data migration, schema mapping, and network topology validation initiatives.
Mentor, train, and upskill BMI GIS professionals through active participation in live projects, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM, and Enterprise Geodatabases (SDE).
Define and implement best practices for GIS data quality, governance, workflows, and automation.
Collaborate with BMUS project teams and clients to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Support integration of GIS with enterprise systems such as SAP, Maximo, Cityworks, and Trimble Unity.
Drive process improvements through automation using Python, SQL, FME, and related technologies.
Manage and guide GIS project teams, including resource planning, technical reviews, and delivery oversight.
Assist in proposal development, solution architecture, estimation, and capability-building initiatives for future Utility Network opportunities.
Work closely with leadership to establish and execute a roadmap for reducing the Utility Network skills gap between BMI and BMUS.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and organizational processes.
Qualifications
Master's degree in GIS/Geoinformatics and/or Bachelors in Civil Engineering or any relevant field
7 years of experience.
Skills Required: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArGIS Online, ArcFM, ArcGIS Utility Network, Utility Network Migration/Implementation, ArcGIS SDE, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, Python, SQL, Team Development.
