Senior GIS Application Programmer

About the Role Our client is looking for a Senior Application Programmer (GIS) to support its Enterprise GIS platform on AWS - from day-to-day operations and API/microservice development through Web-GIS application integration and delivery across the organization. What You'll Do Support day-to-day operation of the Enterprise GIS IT environment on AWS. Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for the GIS platform. Plan and implement GIS integration with enterprise business databases and applications. Support ESRI product migration (apps, dashboards, StoryMaps) into the Enterprise GIS. Support consultant teams building standards-compliant, GIS-integrated applications. Participate in Agile delivery — Scrum and Kanban ceremonies. What You'll Bring 10+ years planning and deploying Enterprise GIS IT (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes). Strong Web-GIS development background — ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, GeoNode, GeoServer. Programming skills across Python, JavaScript/AngularJS, C#, PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Infrastructure skills — Terraform, Datadog, Windows/Linux, AWS/Azure/Kubernetes. Fluent written and spoken English.
