Position: Senior GIS Data Analyst
Mission
To process, analyze, edit, and generate final deliverables (reports, topographic maps, etc.) from georeferenced bathymetric and other relevant datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret topographic maps, geospatial datasets, and satellite imagery.
Process, analyze, edit, and produce final outputs (reports, topographic maps, etc.) from bathymetric and other input data.
Work with hydrological models and maps.
Manage and process historical hydrological height (water level) data.
Process hydrological, meteorological, and precipitation data.
Prepare professional presentations and reports on river conditions, critical navigation points, and vessel traffic behavior based on processed data.
Execute tasks in compliance with the Integrated Management System (SGI), ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) requirements.
Participate in and/or conduct role-specific training (in-person or online).
Timely communicate process improvements or deviations to immediate supervisor to drive continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct manager.
Requirements
Currently in the final years or graduate of Civil Engineering, Higher Technical in Surveying, Higher Technical in Hydrography, Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Sciences, or related fields. (Preferred)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. (Preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Hydrographic software experience.
GIS software: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or QGIS.
Hypack 2022.
Global Mapper.
