Senior GIS Developer

Role: Senior GIS Developer As a Senior GIS Developer, you will become part of a team dedicated to developing and evolving complex geospatial solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing requirements and designing applications based on microservices architectures Collaborating with stakeholders, end users, and multidisciplinary teams Actively participating in backend and frontend development Integrating geospatial systems Managing releases and providing technical support Ensuring high-quality standards and proper geospatial data management Requirements Proven experience in GIS and geospatial application development Strong proficiency in geospatial Python, Oracle Spatial, FME, and GeoServer Experience developing with Java SE 11, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot Knowledge of microservices architectures and frontend development with Angular 9+ Experience integrating systems via REST and SOAP services Advanced SQL and data modeling skills Professional use of Git/GitLab and branching strategies Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ability to gather and analyze requirements from clients and end users Experience writing technical and functional documentation Autonomy in managing development, release, and troubleshooting activities Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills Nice-to-Have Knowledge of OpenLayers 3+ Experience in agricultural sector projects Experience working with Public Administration Familiarity with SonarQube and Liquibase Experience in distributed and multidisciplinary teams Offer Permanent contract (Full-time) Annual gross salary range: €42,000 – €45,000 Work mode: Full Remote Experis promotes equal opportunities and respect for diversity and inclusion, evaluating qualified candidates regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
