Senior Project Manager - GIS Application Upgrade

Manage the upgrade of vital geospatial applications at the Ontario Public Service. This senior project manager role involves leading the transition to the VertiGIS platform while ensuring high standards of quality and compliance. You will spearhead the upgrade project that includes re-engineering up to 18 essential applications for improved performance and user experience. As a senior project manager, your responsibilities will include fostering team collaboration, developing detailed project plans, and ensuring adherence to government standards. Your expertise in GIS technologies, particularly Esri's suite, will be paramount. Key Responsibilities: Direct strategic planning and funding requests Maintain comprehensive project schedules and scopes Monitor project costs closely for accountability Identify and address potential project risks Engage with stakeholders for effective reporting Requirements: Onsite availability in Ontario for 5 days a week Demonstrated experience with Esri solutions Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Spatial Skills in conflict resolution Knowledge of Project Management principles Lead the transformation of GIS applications at the Ontario Public Service with your project management skills.
