YOUR ROLE
Analysis & Optimization: In interdisciplinary project teams, you’ll take on diverse responsibilities across the full engineering lifecycle—from requirements analysis and system design to programming, implementation, quality assurance, and project management. Specifically, you’ll analyze existing GIS implementations and identify optimization opportunities.
Concept & Development: You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and designing (GIS) applications within an agile project environment.
Deployment & Configuration: You’ll support the deployment and configuration of GIS platforms in both cloud and on-premise environments.
Continuous Enhancement: You’ll further develop and optimize customer-specific software solutions.
Microservice Architectures: You’ll fully conceptualize and implement modern microservice architectures.
Project Support: From initial idea through to go-live, you’ll carefully accompany and guide solutions to successful delivery.
YOUR PROFILE
Solid Education: You hold a degree in an IT-related field (e.g., computer science, geoinformatics, computer science), or have equivalent IT training and relevant professional experience.
GIS Experience: You have hands-on experience implementing solutions with common GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI, Precisely, open-source GIS tools, etc.).
JavaScript Frameworks: You are proficient in at least one of the major JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React).
Backend Development: You bring several years of experience in backend development for web-based, scalable systems and applications (e.g., using Java or Node.js), working with various databases and frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate) in agile environments. For you, software development is more than just coding—it’s a bridge between business and people.
Modern Concepts & Tools: You are well-versed in current software development practices and tools, such as Scrum, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, and Domain-Driven Design.
AI Competence: You confidently apply AI tools in your domain, critically evaluate results, and help customers and colleagues unlock the potential of AI.
Language Skills: Excellent German and good English proficiency.
