About the Role: We are looking for a highly driven Solutions Engineer – Mining to join our Solution Engineering team and help build practical, scalable, and technology-driven solutions for the mining industry. This role is ideal for someone who understands mining operations on the ground and is excited about solving real-world mining challenges using digital technologies such as GIS, drone data, analytics, automation, AI, and cloud-based platforms. You will work closely with clients, domain experts, product teams, developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to translate mining workflows and operational challenges into impactful digital solutions. What you'll do Work with the Solution Engineering team to conceptualize, develop, test, and improve digital mining solutions and workflows Understand mining operations, production workflows, field challenges, and client requirements across different mining environments Translate operational mining problems into structured workflows, technical requirements, and scalable solution approaches Support solution development for use cases related to: Mine planning & scheduling Production monitoring Drilling & blasting Surveying & volumetric analysis Safety & compliance Operational analytics & reporting Collaborate with Product, Engineering, GIS, Data, and Operations teams to support solution implementation and delivery Participate in client discussions, technical workshops, requirement gathering sessions, demos, and pilot programs Support field deployments, testing, validation, implementation, and user acceptance activities Prepare technical documentation, workflow notes, presentations, reports, and methodology documents Contribute to product feedback, feature enhancement discussions, and release validation activities Support consulting-style engagements, industry research, market analysis, and solution benchmarking Travel to client sites across India and internationally when required What we're looking for B.Tech / M.Tech in Mining Engineering 2–3 years of experience in mining operations, mine planning, field execution, technical consulting, digital mining, or solution engineering roles Strong understanding of mining workflows, mine operations, production processes, drilling & blasting, safety practices, and statutory requirements Ability to break down complex operational problems into structured and practical solution approaches Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills Comfortable interacting with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams Ability to work in fast-paced, execution-oriented environments High ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn emerging technologies Willingness to travel based on project requirements Good to have Exposure to mine planning and mining software such as: Surpac Datamine Vulcan MineSched AutoCAD / Civil 3D Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS Understanding of drone surveying, photogrammetry, remote sensing, DEM/DTM generation, orthomosaics, point clouds, and 3D datasets Exposure to digital mining platforms, dashboards, analytics, automation, or AI/ML-driven workflows Experience supporting client-facing engagements, technical demos, pre-sales discussions, or consulting projects Knowledge of mining compliance workflows and regulatory reporting requirements Who will thrive in this role Someone who: Understands mining operations beyond theory Enjoys solving real operational problems Can communicate effectively with both clients and technical teams Thinks structurally and analytically Is excited about the future of digital mining and industrial technology Wants to work at the intersection of mining, GIS, AI, drones, analytics, and product innovation Show more Show less
