What We Are Looking For
We're looking for an experienced GIS Officer to join our corporate spatial team. This role is suited to an established professional with strong spatial analysis, cartographic and spatial systems skills who can build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders while also working independently to deliver practical GIS solutions across a diverse range of business needs.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Conducting spatial research and analysis
Developing, implementing, and maintaining spatial datasets
Producing high-quality maps, visualisations, and web mapping products
Identifying opportunities to improve spatial systems, automate processes and deliver business solutions
Supporting internal clients on strategic, technical, and procedural issues
Undertaking audits and ensuring relevant documentation is accurate

What You’ll Need For Success
Current and significant experience as a GIS professional, including spatial analysis, cartographic production, technical problem solving and the implementation of GIS solutions.
Advanced GIS software skills and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new spatial technologies, platforms, and workflows
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to people with varying levels of knowledge
