Specialist - ArcGIS Utility Network

Terra Helix Technologies is a geospatial consultancy. We are looking for an ArcGIS expert with strong hands-on experience in the ArcGIS Utility Network to work on projects that model telecom networks. You will work with the Utility Network, work on the design and management of the enterprise geodatabase, and publish services across ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online. You will work alongside Terra Helix Tech Lead to deliver accurate, scalable network models for our clients. This role suits a GIS professional with 3-5 years of experience who is confident in ArcGIS and comfortable working directly with client teams. Key Responsibilities Configure the ArcGIS Utility Network telecom domain network, including asset groups and asset types, network attributes, terminals, connectivity and containment rules, tiers and subnetworks. Design, build and maintain the telecom data model in the enterprise geodatabase, covering schema, domains, relationship classes and versioning. Work on GIS data migration from legacy systems into the ESRI Utility Network. Design migration strategies for structure networks, domain networks, asset groups, asset types and associations. Analyse legacy data models and map them to the ESRI Utility Network model. Configure the Utility Network in the enterprise geodatabase, including domain networks, structure networks, network attributes, terminals, tiers, subnetworks and network rules. Handle network topology, connectivity rules, containment and association migration. Perform data validation, reconciliation and post-migration quality checks in ArcGIS Pro. Support cutover, rollback and delta migration strategies. Build and test tracing and analysis workflows (connectivity, upstream/downstream, circuit and path tracing) to confirm the model supports real operational needs. Publish and manage utility network services and web maps using ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro. Document mapping decisions and business rules, run workshops with client SMEs, support UAT and training, and collaborate with product owners, developers and GIS specialists. Must have good analytical and problem solving skills Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Computer Science or a related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, Arcgis Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and enterprise geodatabase management. Practical experience working with the ArcGIS Utility Network. Experience with the ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase workflows Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical teams and client stakeholders. Good To have Esri certifications. Experience working in Agile delivery teams alongside product owners and developers. Telecom domain knowledge is an advantage, including OSS functions, TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID) or ITIL, mobile backhaul, IP/MPLS or DWDM, and network data migration or cleansing. Scripting and automation experience using Python, ArcPy or ModelBuilder. Location This position is based in Bengaluru, and requires you to work from the clients office.
