Surveying & GIS Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 4 Years Job DescriptionGeotech 3D is seeking an experienced Surveying & GIS Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in land surveying, GIS, cadastral surveying, drone surveying, and 3D laser scanning, with the ability to manage both field and office-based operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct land surveying, topographic surveys, setting-out, and high-precision ground control surveys using GPS/GNSS and Total Stations. Perform grid leveling, benchmark transfers, cadastral surveys, and land expropriation surveys. Prepare land subdivision plans, cadastral drawings, shop drawings, and surveying reports. Handle title deed updates and related cadastral procedures through relevant government platforms. Manage, update, and maintain geospatial databases using ArcGIS. Perform spatial data analysis, mapping, and GIS automation using Python and ModelBuilder. Conduct drone-based aerial surveys and process photogrammetry data. Generate DSM, DTM, Orthophotos, Mesh models, and topographic maps. Process and register 3D laser scanning point clouds and produce Scan-to-BIM and As-Built models. Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of surveying and GIS outputs. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, Geodesy, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including: At least 2 years in GIS, drone data processing, point clouds, and geospatial databases. At least 2 years in land surveying, cadastral work, land subdivision, and title deed updates. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers. Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS, ModelBuilder, GPS/GNSS, Leica Total Stations, and drone surveying. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Python, and BigQuery GIS. Valid drone operator permit issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). Fluency in Arabic and English. Preferred Certifications Google Cloud BigQuery GIS.
