For construction companies, you will survey and plan entire development areas and develop solutions for waterway restoration projects.
Role
We are seeking a specialist as a Surveying/Geomatics Engineer (80–100%) for diverse tasks in surveying and geoinformation. You will work on challenging projects in:
Construction and engineering surveying
3D surveying
Cadastral (official) surveying
Using modern measurement and geoinformation systems, you will handle data acquisition as well as the processing, analysis, and documentation of geospatial data using CAD and GIS applications. Depending on experience, there is the opportunity to gradually assume greater responsibility and independently lead your own surveying projects.
Responsibilities
Independent execution of construction and engineering surveying for building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects
Execution of setting-out, field surveys, control surveys, and as-built surveys
Carrying out and evaluating modern 3D surveys and processing spatial measurement data
Conducting and updating official (cadastral) surveying in accordance with Swiss regulations
Acquisition and processing of surveying data using GNSS, total stations, and modern digital measurement systems
Processing, validation, and quality control of geospatial and surveying data
Creation and maintenance of CAD and GIS data, technical drawings, and documentation
Use of GeoMedia, AutoCAD Map 3D, and/or Civil 3D for digital project processing
Participation in innovative applications in the fields of 3D, BIM, and digital as-built documentation
Coordination of surveying activities with clients, engineers, authorities, and other project stakeholders
Gradual assumption of independent project management, including scheduling, organization, and project execution
Qualifications
Completed Swiss vocational education as a Geomatiker EFZ or further education as a Geomatiktechniker with federal vocational qualification (eidg. Fachausweis)
Professional experience and solid knowledge in surveying and geomatics
Knowledge of construction, engineering, and/or official (cadastral) surveying
Proficiency in GIS and CAD systems; ideally GeoMedia, AutoCAD Map 3D, or Civil 3D
Interest in 3D surveying, BIM, and modern geomatics technologies
Experience in independent project work or project management is an advantage
Valid Swiss driving license (category B)
