Surveying/Geomatics Technician

Company Description A firm with over 40 years of experience, specializing in all aspects of surveying and geospatial measurement: Cadastral certificates (certificats de localisation) Construction staking and layout Borehole deviation measurements (gyroscopic and magnetic surveys) Borehole location and layout 3D scanning of dry or flooded cavities Bathymetric surveys Drone-based aerial and terrestrial photogrammetry and LiDAR 3D scanning of various structures Job Description Conduct cadastral surveys, staking, topographic surveys, and drone-based data acquisition. Demonstrate strong computer literacy and comfort with office software. Be resourceful, reliable, and able to work outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions. Hold a diploma in surveying, computer science, or drafting (an asset). No experience required: internal training on equipment and procedures will be provided. Languages French: Advanced (spoken and written) English: Intermediate (spoken and written) Education Bachelor’s degree, first cycle, in Agriculture, Forestry, or Geomatics — specialization in Geomatics Experience 1 to 2 years (entry-level candidates considered with relevant training) Skills Diligence and punctuality Teamwork ability Initiative and problem-solving mindset
