About the Role
Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking an engaged, motivated, and qualified full-time employee (39 hours per week) to join our Network Documentation team as:
Technical Draftsman (m/f/d) / GIS Specialist (m/f/d)
Become part of our 19-member team and support us in accurately and reliably documenting our utility networks. Open communication, a constructive and helpful team culture, and enjoyment of collaborative work are highly important to us.
Your future responsibilities:
Network Design: Based on existing survey data, you will design power and telecommunications networks as well as technical installations, and ensure the ongoing maintenance and updating of our existing network records.
Overview Plans: For the electricity division, you will create and update overview plans, including those for medium-voltage, low-voltage, and lighting systems.
As-Built Documentation: You will digitize road construction and site layout plans for construction projects and carefully integrate them into our base plan archives.
Technical Drawings: You will produce station diagrams, planning documents, and cross-section profiles to meet various technical requirements.
Data Quality Assurance: You will reconcile technical installations between SAP PM and GIS using supporting tools such as the SBI-Monitor, contributing to consistent and high-quality data management.
Your profile:
What makes you stand out: You demonstrate confidence, cooperative and reliable conduct, independent working methods, strong communication skills, and quick comprehension. You bring initiative, teamwork ability, and organizational talent.
Your work style: You work carefully, reliably, and flexibly. Within the team, you actively contribute and maintain open coordination with other departments.
Your qualifications: You hold a completed vocational training in technical drafting, architectural drafting, or surveying technology—or an equivalent qualification.
Your skills: Proficiency in digital utility network documentation and solid command of standard Microsoft Office applications form a solid foundation for this role. Experience with Smallworld and TKI GIS systems, as well as SAP PM, is advantageous.
Your experience: Prior experience with utility networks in electricity, gas, or water supply is ideal.
If the position interests you but you don’t meet 100% of the criteria? No problem—we’re happy to fill any remaining gaps together.
What we offer:
An interesting and diverse range of tasks. Compensation is based on the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V), with a salary range between pay grade 6 and pay grade 7. The exact salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience.
