Traffic & GIS Analyst

Company: GEK TERNA GROUP NEA S.A., a company within the GEK Terna Group, is seeking: Traffic & GIS Analyst Key Responsibilities Collect, analyze, digitize, and visualize geospatial data related to highways. Continuously update applications built in ArcGIS Experience Builder. Create mosaic orthophoto maps from drone imagery and process orthoimages. Develop and maintain geodatabases. Develop mobile applications (using tools such as Survey123, Survey360, etc.) for field inspections and work logging. Produce thematic maps and spatial reports to support studies and decision-making. Supervise and coordinate the mapping and updating of highway assets. Generate custom GIS dashboards to monitor incidents, asphalt conditions, and other key metrics. Update the project study database and work registry, ensuring seamless integration with the GIS system. Collaborate and communicate with public authorities to obtain digital data. Create maps to support traffic modeling. Monitor and update the MyOdos application. Liaise with local authorities and other public or private entities regarding traffic operations and handle related correspondence. Monitor traffic volumes from traffic counters and evaluate alternative traffic management scenarios during major highway maintenance works. Track relevant KPIs and prepare reports for external stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering. Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Minimum 4 years of experience as a GIS Analyst. Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Enterprise, Experience Builder, Survey123/360, Story Maps, Mobile Apps, and ArcPy scripting. Basic programming skills in Python and Arcade. Native or near-native fluency in English (spoken and written). Expertise in AutoCAD. Advanced computer and MS Office skills. Competencies Analytical thinking and methodical approach.
