Transmission Planner – CAD / GIS / Permitting (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize transmission line routes using CAD and GIS tools Conduct spatial analysis and terrain modeling to support route selection Prepare technical documentation and planning reports for regulatory approval processes Coordinate with authorities, landowners, and stakeholders during permitting procedures Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and technical requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., environmental science, engineering) Qualifications: Completed technical education (e.g., surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field) Proven experience in transmission line planning, CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and GIS (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) Knowledge of German permitting procedures for energy infrastructure (e.g., BNatSchG, BImSchG, Planfeststellungsverfahren) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Proficiency in German (written and spoken); English skills are beneficial We Offer: A meaningful role in shaping Germany’s sustainable energy future Opportunities for professional growth and responsibility A collaborative and innovative team environment Flexible working arrangements and modern tools
