Job Description
As Urban & Real Estate Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing real estate investment opportunities through the integrated use of data, GIS, urban planning, market analysis, and artificial intelligence. Your role spans the entire initial investment cycle—from systematic asset sourcing and urban, technical, and financial evaluation to delivering actionable investment recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze investment opportunities using GIS, mapping, and urban, cadastral, and market data sources.
Integrate and process geospatial, demographic, and commercial data to detect high-potential assets.
Develop spatial analyses and prioritization models (scoring) to select the most attractive opportunities.
Create and maintain maps, dashboards, and monitoring systems for the recurrent identification of new opportunities.
Analyze urban planning regulations, permits, and zoning plans to assess land viability, buildability, and permitted uses.
Verify cadastral data, surface areas, and physical characteristics of assets.
Evaluate development potential by cross-referencing urban, technical, and market information.
Prepare feasibility studies, conduct technical site visits, and support due diligence—identifying risks, contingencies, and investment recommendations.
Translate complex analyses into actionable investment recommendations, collaborating with the Investment Team to identify, prioritize, and validate opportunities using data and objective evidence.
Lead data automation and exploitation using GIS, AI, and advanced analytics tools to develop scalable solutions for real estate opportunity identification and evaluation.
Support permit and license applications, utility connections, and responses to administrative requests.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders on critical technical and urban planning aspects.
Monitor investment hypotheses throughout project execution, flagging deviations in scope, timeline, or viability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:
Education: Degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering, Geomatics, Geography, Urban Planning, or related field. For non-architecture/engineering profiles, a strong understanding of real estate and regulatory frameworks is essential.
Academic Excellence: Demonstrated high academic performance.
Postgraduate Studies (Highly Valued): Big Data, Business Analytics, Data Science, GIS, Geospatial Analytics, Urban Analytics, PropTech, or equivalent disciplines.
Experience: Minimum 4 years combining real estate analysis, urban planning, GIS, cartography, or data exploitation in varying proportions.
Languages: Fluent English, with the ability to work with technical documentation and professional tools.
Availability: Valid driving license (Category B) and willingness to conduct site visits.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with QGIS, ArcGIS, or other GIS platforms; advanced proficiency in cartography, coordinate reference systems, geometry handling, and layer overlay analysis.
