Luís Alberto Guilamba

Luís Alberto Guilamba holds a degree in Geographic Information Science and has experience in applying Geospatial Information and Communication Technologies (Geo-CIT) for the collection, processing, analysis, management, and dissemination of geospatial information. His work focuses on the integration of cartographic and alphanumeric data to support territorial planning, land use management, and the implementation of development projects, including resettlement processes. They possess experience in planimetric and altimetric (topo-geodetic) surveys, applied to the delimitation of areas, identification and mapping of plots, location of infrastructure and implementation of benchmarks and level references. They also perform volumetric calculations, contributing to the planning and preparation of areas intended for resettlement. He also has experience in the analysis, manipulation and interpretation of satellite imagery and aerial photographs for identifying environmental changes, monitoring land use and land cover, analyzing human settlements and supporting the planning of new resettlement areas. Additionally, he has solid experience in the development and management of spatial databases (MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL/PostGIS), as well as in the creation of geospatial applications and WebGIS platforms for the organization, visualization and dissemination of geospatial information, facilitating the monitoring and management of data in resettlement projects.
