GIS ASSET DATA CO-ORDINATOR 10500008 - T11 Job Purpose: Provide Municipal-wide GIS/Asset Management support. Perform complex spatial analysis, data management and interfacing GIS/Asset management with relational databases. Key Responsibility Areas: Perform complex spatial analysis, data management and interfacing GIS/Asset Management with relational databases Monitor asset and Audit data for the Council’s GRAP 17 Compliant Asset Register Facilitate, support and train GIS/Asset Management users Provide technical support to user departments for the GIS/Asset Management System Attend strategic meetings with Head of Department and Asset managers Competencies: Organizational awareness. Coaching and mentoring. Qualifications Essential Requirements: Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or any other related and equivalent qualification. Valid motor vehicle driving license 3 years relevant experience Computer Literacy. Preferred Requirements: Degree (NQF Level 7) in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or any other related and equivalent qualification. 4 Years relevant experience.
