Company: Docaret Title: 3D GIS Data Producer for Aeronautical Simulators DOCARET is seeking a Geospatial Data Producer to support a defense-sector client. You will develop and maintain 3D geospatial databases used in flight simulators and actively contribute to the entire project lifecycle—from requirements definition and data acquisition to validation—both in France and internationally. Key Responsibilities: Design, produce, and validate 3D geographic databases tailored for aeronautical simulation environments Collaborate with technical teams and end-users to define functional and technical requirements Process and integrate diverse geospatial data sources (e.g., LiDAR, photogrammetry, vector data) Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with simulation-specific standards Support international projects and coordinate with cross-border stakeholders Required Qualifications: Engineering degree or Master’s in Geomatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, or related field Minimum 5 years of professional experience in geographic database development, preferably within aerospace or defense sectors Proven expertise with GIS software, especially ArcGIS Pro (other tools such as QGIS, ERDAS, or Cesium may be advantageous) Strong understanding of 3D geospatial data models, coordinate systems, and spatial databases Familiarity with simulation environments (e.g., flight simulators, virtual terrain systems) is highly desirable Excellent analytical, communication, and project coordination skills Fluency in French (essential); proficiency in English is a plus
