3D Spatial Data Associate - Intermediate (AI Community)

About the Role: At TELUS Digital, we are teaching AI to move from 2D screens into 3D environments. As a 3D Spatial Data Associate, you will help AI interpret and navigate the physical world by processing and labeling complex 3D datasets, including LiDAR point clouds and 3D meshes. Key Responsibilities: - 3D Bounding Box Annotation: Drawing precise 3D boxes around objects in point-cloud data to help AI identify size, orientation, and location. - Semantic Segmentation: Categorizing 3D surfaces (e.g., distinguishing between roads, sidewalks, and obstacles). - Point-Cloud Cleaning: Filtering out weather or dust interference/noise from raw sensor data. - Simulated Data Validation: Verifying that AI-generated 3D environments are accurate digital twins of the physical world. - Spatial Logic Testing: Validating spatial reasoning capabilities by answering analytical questions about 3D scenes. Requirements: - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Preferred fields include Architecture, Geography, Graphic Design, Game Design, or STEM disciplines. - Native-level proficiency in your primary language to ensure accurate labeling of localized assets. - Minimum B1 (Intermediate) English proficiency to follow technical guidelines. - Strong visual-spatial skills and high attention to detail.
