About the Role
Company
Centro de Observación y Teledetección Espacial (COTESA) specializes in Earth observation and innovative solutions for Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, and urban planning. Leveraging remote sensing, AI, and big data, COTESA develops web and mobile applications to optimize resource management, improve urban planning, and support precise market studies—driving technological advancement toward a more efficient and sustainable future.
The Challenge
You’ll tackle real-world problems where hardware constraints, latency, and environmental conditions are critical—taking AI models from research to operational deployment in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Develop advanced real-time (near real-time) computer vision algorithms for video.
Design and implement object detection, classification, and multi-object tracking systems in video sequences.
Build perception solutions for mobile platforms (drones, autonomous vehicles, embedded sensors).
Optimize AI models for real-time inference on edge devices (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, onboard systems).
Integrate computer vision models into video streaming pipelines (RTSP, GStreamer, etc.).
Develop automatic tracking systems using deep learning and/or classical methods.
Contribute to designing AI architectures for distributed and real-time processing systems.
Collaborate on R&D projects related to autonomous perception, intelligent surveillance, and defense.
