is seeking an
ArcGIS Developer with 1–3 years of experience
to join our Geospatial Solutions and Enterprise Applications team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of the
Esri ArcGIS ecosystem
and an interest in developing enterprise GIS applications, digital workflows, field solutions, dashboards, and Smart City platforms.
You will work with
ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Workflow Manager, Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, ArcGIS Hub, Python, and ArcGIS REST APIs
while collaborating with Business Analysts, GIS Specialists, Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and US-based stakeholders.
Working Hours
This is a
fully remote position
supporting our
United States Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT)
operations.
Candidates must be comfortable working during
US Pacific Time business hours
and participating in project discussions, client meetings, development activities, deployments, and production support during those hours.
Strong communication, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
ArcGIS Solutions Development
Develop, configure, and maintain GIS solutions using
ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
Build GIS applications using
ArcGIS Experience Builder
Develop interactive web mapping applications using
ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
Work with
ArcGIS REST APIs
for application and system integrations
Publish and manage feature services, map services, and geoprocessing services
Develop reusable GIS components and custom functionality
Support internal and public-facing GIS applications
Enterprise Workflow Development
Configure business processes using
ArcGIS Workflow Manager
Support approval and operational workflows for departments such as
Public Works, Code Enforcement, Planning, Animal Control, City Clerk, Legal, and City Management
Configure workflow stages, routing rules, notifications, and task assignments
Automate workflow activities using
Python, ArcGIS Notebooks, webhooks, and REST APIs
Support workflow optimization and business process automation
GIS Data Management
Create and maintain GIS datasets using
ArcGIS Pro
Work with spatial datasets including parcels, zoning, streets, utilities, facilities, assets, inspections, work orders, and service requests
Perform spatial analysis, geocoding, routing, and geoprocessing
Maintain spatial data quality and integrity
Support enterprise geodatabase management and optimization
Work with SQL and spatial databases where required
Field Mobility & Survey Solutions
Develop digital forms using
ArcGIS Survey123
Configure mobile applications using
ArcGIS Field Maps
Support offline data collection and GPS-based field activities
Configure photo capture, digital signatures, and inspection forms
Develop field inspection and work-order workflows
Support asset and workforce management solutions
Dashboard & Reporting
Build operational dashboards using
ArcGIS Dashboards
Develop dashboards for managers, supervisors, operational teams, and public users
Configure KPIs for service requests, inspections, work orders, response times, workloads, and operational performance
Develop interactive maps and data visualizations
Support real-time and location-based reporting
Citizen Portal Development
Develop citizen engagement solutions using
ArcGIS Hub and Experience Builder
Configure service-request forms and public dashboards
Develop zoning maps, project-tracking applications, and open-data portals
Build accessible and user-friendly GIS applications
Support Smart City and Digital Government initiatives
System Integration
Integrate ArcGIS with
ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, Asset Management Systems, and other enterprise platforms
Develop integrations using
ArcGIS REST APIs, Python API, JSON, XML, webhooks, and RESTful services
Support secure authentication and
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Collaborate with development teams on enterprise integrations
Support cloud-based GIS deployments and integrations
AI & Automation
Support integration of ArcGIS applications with
AI-powered services
Contribute to solutions involving document summarization, inspection summaries, case classification, duplicate detection, and natural-language search
Develop automation using
Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, and ArcGIS Notebooks
Automate notifications, reports, workflow progression, and data synchronization
Explore opportunities to integrate
AI and GIS technologies
Performance Optimization & Support
Monitor and support ArcGIS applications and services
Troubleshoot application, workflow, map service, and database issues
Assist with map rendering and spatial-query optimization
Perform application debugging and root-cause analysis
Support production deployments and application maintenance
Provide technical support for enterprise GIS solutions
Collaboration & Documentation
Collaborate with
GIS Analysts, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Project Managers
Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews
Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, SOPs, and deployment documentation
Support application testing and production releases
Assist with user training and knowledge-transfer activities
Required Technical Skills
1–3 years of experience in GIS / ArcGIS development or implementation
Hands-on experience with
ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Pro
Working knowledge of
ArcGIS Experience Builder
Exposure to
ArcGIS Workflow Manager, Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, or ArcGIS Hub
Knowledge of
ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Working knowledge of
Python
Exposure to
ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python
Experience working with
REST APIs and web services
Understanding of GIS databases and spatial data modelling
Basic-to-intermediate SQL knowledge
Understanding of GIS concepts including
coordinate systems, projections, spatial analysis, geocoding, and routing
Good debugging and problem-solving skills
