We are seeking a responsible individual to assist in field operations for land asset reporting and in the processing and analysis of digital and geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and management of land asset information database development for PDT, ensuring spatial and digital data are consistently updated, complete, accurate, and accessible to stakeholders as official departmental references.
Conduct site visits and prepare detailed current land status reports, including technical observations, photographic documentation, and brief analyses to support the preparation of departmental certification and valuation documents.
Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of land plans—both physical and digital—while considering technical requirements, mapping standards, and suitability for land administration and legal purposes.
Carry out technical investigations and observations on PDT SSI land using modern technologies such as drones, LiDAR systems, GPS equipment, and GIS applications to ensure data accuracy and support land information management processes.
Prepare land reports and periodic monitoring reports covering physical, technical, current land use, and improvement suggestions, to serve as reference materials for departmental planning and enforcement.
Assist in coordinating and managing site visits with prospects for land leasing, rental, or development purposes, including providing technical support, preparing summary documents, and ensuring visits follow departmental procedures.
Execute special assignments as directed by PDTA management from time to time, including technical, administrative, or research-related land matters, ensuring all tasks are carried out professionally, orderly, and within stipulated timelines.
Main Qualifications:
STPM or Diploma in Surveying and Geomatics (GIS) or a related field, recognized by the government from a local higher education institution, or equivalent recognized qualifications.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
