About the Role

EXECUTIVE (GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) -CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER'S OFFICE) Responsibilities: Ensure as-built drawings are updated in the GIS system to support GIS database record and development plan Assist in updating GIS asset information for internal projects and other departments, and maintain accurate GIS datasets in the GIS Database System Perform regular checks on GIS Database System modules, WEBGIS Portal, and Dashboards to support smooth operations and report any issues Ensure updating of consumer data are geotagged, and integration of IRMS consumption data and NRW - DMA/ZMA into the GIS System Ensure integration of engineering data in the GIS platform for efficient planning and analysis Conduct site visits and verify GIS data with the Water Engineering Division (WED) for accuracy and updates to the GIS system Ensure under Water Resources Management (WRM) any scheduled or unscheduled monitoring of water catchment areas & other reported illegal development areas are inspected and reported to management Prepare GIS plans and mapping for use by internal teams, consultants, or external requests Ensure good quality of GPS data to input to GIS System and conduct GPS surveys Ensure all GIS data is backed up and secured regularly following internal procedures Ensuring compliance of the company’s Quality Management System (ISO9001), Occupational, Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS18001) and Information Security Management System (IOS 27001) Ensure all yearly GIS Unit KPIs and SPAN KPI are achieved to meet organizational goals and performance standards. Requirements: Degree in Geoinformatics (GIS) / Geomatics / Surveying / Town Planners / Geographical Science / Environmental and approved by Malaysian Government Minimum two (2) years working experience in related field Strong analytical, problem solving, result oriented and interpersonal skill Ability to work under pressure, tight schedule and stringent environment Possess good project management skills Positions offered is contract for one ( 1 ) year prior to the absorption into permanent posts and subject to job performance.
