Assistant Director, GIS Developer

PLRA is seeking an Assistant Director, GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain GIS applications, spatial databases, and web mapping solutions. Responsibilities include developing GIS web and desktop applications; designing, managing, and optimizing spatial databases; processing, validating, and analyzing geospatial datasets; developing interactive web maps and dashboards; integrating GIS services with enterprise applications and REST APIs; performing spatial analysis and geoprocessing; importing and exporting GIS data; publishing and consuming WMS, WFS, WMTS, Feature Services, and Map Services; automating GIS workflows using Python; optimizing GIS application and database performance; troubleshooting GIS applications and spatial data issues; and collaborating with developers, survey teams, and business stakeholders. Qualifications include BSCS, BS-GIS, BS-Space Science, MCS, MS-GIS, or MS-Space Science with 16 years of education. Three years of experience is required. Both genders are eligible and the stated age range is 24–34. Domicile is required. There are 2 positions. Monthly salary is PKR 145,000–150,000.
