CAD/GIS Specialist – High Voltage Grid Solutions (South-East Region)

Introduction Together with your colleagues, you will implement projects in the planning of high- and extra-high-voltage power transmission lines, helping our customers achieve climate protection goals. As a specialist in energy infrastructure, we are looking for you—starting as soon as possible—to join our High Voltage / Grid Solutions team in: CAD/GIS Specialist (m/f/d) Location: Alsfeld, Meiningen Reference No.: 2026-1692 Working Hours: Full-time (permanent contract) Company: SPIE SAG GmbH – High Voltage Division Tasks: Independent creation and ongoing maintenance of digital planning documents for high-, extra-high-, medium-, and low-voltage networks Preparation of location and profile plans in various scales, as well as special plans throughout the planning process (preliminary, design, and execution phases) Compilation and maintenance of lists and calculations as part of planning documentation, including task preparation in selected planning stages Evaluation of terrestrial surveying results, airborne LiDAR data, or other measurement outputs—including preprocessing for subsequent steps Intermediate and final review of planning documents for quality assurance, and final compilation of all planning deliverables prior to submission to the client Profile: Completed technical vocational training, e.g., in technical drafting, geomatics, surveying, CAD/GIS, or a comparable qualification Experience working with geospatial data, preferably in electrical infrastructure projects Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and CAD applications; confident use of Microsoft Office suite Self-motivated, independent, and committed work style Enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary and cross-team structures Willingness to work regularly on-site at the office and cooperate across teams Very good written and spoken German (minimum C1 level) We Offer: Permanent Employment: We aim for a long-term partnership with you as we shape the future together.
