**About the job Cartographer (GIS) Job ID: Job ID: JP054622** **Job Title:** Cartographer (GIS) **Job Description** We are looking for a **Junior Cartographer (GIS)** to support the rollout of a new address and building management application. You will be responsible for processing map updates, maintaining geographic data, and assisting end users with application-related questions and best practices. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Update and maintain geographic information using ArcGIS Pro. * Process requests for road, address, and building map modifications. * Correct mapping anomalies and ensure data accuracy. * Support users via phone and online with application-related queries. * Assist with complex address and street management tasks. * Collaborate with GIS and project teams to maintain high-quality spatial data. * Contribute to documentation and continuous process improvements. **Required Skills** * Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ESRI GIS solutions. * Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Good communication and user support skills. * Pedagogical skills to assist and guide users. * Fluent French (C2). **Nice To Have** * Experience with FME ETL (workspace design and data transformation). * Experience in the public sector. **Contract Details** * Location: Namur, Belgium (Hybrid) * Work Arrangement: Minimum 60% onsite, with additional onsite presence when required. * Language: French (C2 required).
