Data Scientist – Geospatial Remote Sensing / Satellite Analytics\nWe are looking for a\nData Scientist\nwith strong experience in\nGeospatial Remote Sensing\nto build AI/ML models for satellite-based change detection and early-warning systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with\nSentinel-1 (SAR) & Sentinel-2 imagery\n,\nPython\n,\nPyTorch\n, and geospatial data processing to detect terrain changes, pipeline displacement, and sand encroachment.\nMust-Have Skills:\nHands-on experience in\nGeospatial Remote Sensing\nand satellite imagery analysis\nStrong Python skills (\nNumPy, Rasterio/GDAL, Xarray, GeoPandas, Shapely, Scikit-Image\n)\nExperience working with\nSentinel-1 (SAR) & Sentinel-2\nimagery\nDeep Learning using\nPyTorch\n, including\nTransfer Learning, LoRA/PEFT\nExperience with\nchange detection, time-series analysis, model validation (ROC/AUC), and geospatial data processing\nGood understanding of\nCoordinate Reference Systems (CRS), reprojection, and remote sensing workflows\nNice to Have:\nInSAR/SAR offset tracking (SNAP, ISCE)\nGeospatial foundation models (Prithvi-EO, TerraTorch)\nCopernicus/CDSE, Sentinel Hub, STAC\nMLOps, cloud, and geospatial data pipelines\nSpace Tech, Earth Observation, Oil & Gas, or Pipeline Monitoring experience\nEducation:\nMSc/PhD in\nRemote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Earth Observation, Computer Science/Machine Learning, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
