About the Role
Skylark Drones is looking for DGPS Survey Engineers to carry out high-precision land and infrastructure surveys for enterprise projects across India. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in the field, handling survey equipment, and delivering accurate spatial data under real-world conditions.
The role involves extensive travel to project sites, coordination with drone and GIS teams, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and accuracy standards. DGPS Survey Engineers play a critical role in ensuring ground truth accuracy for drone, GIS, and enterprise geospatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct DGPS surveys for control points, benchmarks, and high-accuracy ground data
Set up, operate, and maintain DGPS equipment at project sites
Perform field data collection ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Coordinate closely with drone pilots, GIS engineers, and operations teams
Travel extensively to project locations across India for on-site survey execution
Validate collected data and ensure completeness and quality before submission
Maintain detailed survey records, logs, and documentation
Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures during field operations
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
Hands-on experience with DGPS or total station surveys
Strong understanding of land surveying principles and coordinate systems
Ability to operate survey equipment independently in field conditions
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended durations
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Attributes
-Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, mining, or utility projects
-Exposure to integrating DGPS data with drone or GIS workflows
-Ability to troubleshoot survey equipment and field issues
-Strong sense of ownership and operational discipline
