📍 Location: Chennai 📅 Joining: September 2026 💼 Experience: 2+ Years About The Role FarmwiseAI is seeking a passionate Drone & Geospatial Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge drone operations, remote sensing, geospatial data processing, and software development to build innovative geospatial solutions. This position goes beyond drone piloting—you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge Drone, GIS, Remote Sensing, AI, and SaaS-based solutions while working on impactful projects for government and enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and manage drone survey missions independently. Process and analyze RGB, Multispectral (MS), and LiDAR datasets using industry-standard photogrammetry software. Perform geospatial data processing, GIS analysis, and remote sensing workflows. Develop and automate geospatial processing workflows using Python. Contribute to the development and enhancement of FarmwiseAI's Drone and Geospatial SaaS platform. Work with RTK/PPK workflows to ensure high-accuracy survey outputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on geospatial analytics, AI, and product engineering initiatives. Travel to project sites as required for field surveys and data acquisition. Required Skills & Qualifications Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) – Mandatory Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in drone surveying, GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial engineering. Proven experience in planning and executing drone survey missions. Strong expertise in photogrammetric processing of RGB, Multispectral (MS), and LiDAR datasets. Hands-on experience with Remote Sensing, GIS, photogrammetry, and geospatial data processing. Proficiency in Python for workflow automation and geospatial application development (preferred). Experience with QGIS, ArcGIS, or other GIS software. Good understanding of RTK/PPK survey workflows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
