Field GIS Technician – Road Inventory

Company: VIALCONS Title: Field GIS Technician – Road Inventory VIALCONS is seeking a Field GIS Technician to support a Basic Road Inventory service and georeferenced data collection. Main Responsibilities: Conduct field surveys of road infrastructure elements. Operate GPS/GNSS devices and cameras with geolocation capabilities. Record stationing (progressive distances), coordinates, and geotagged photographs. Download and organize GPS track logs. Perform daily backup of field-collected data. Requirements: Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in ArcGIS and Microsoft Excel. Prior experience with GPS/GNSS equipment and fieldwork. Current residence in Lima, Peru. Availability for temporary travel to Otuzco, La Libertad. Immediate availability required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting road infrastructure inventories.
