Company: Considera
Location: On-site in Montecorvino Rovella (SA), full-time
Salary: €18,000–€26,000 gross annual, based on experience
About Us:
Considera S.r.l. designs and develops software solutions for public administrations, enterprises, and service operators—including cloud platforms, management applications, and GIS systems—from concept through to production deployment.
The Role:
We’re looking for someone to support WPSCloud and the suite of applications built around it. Current projects include:
WSP: A multi-tenant web application in production for drafting and managing Water Safety Plans by water service operators (per D.Lgs 18/2023);
A multi-tenant WebGIS platform, originally developed for a concluded environmental data project, now intended for reuse and expansion into new applications.
Tech Stack:
Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript
Backend & Database: PostgreSQL (with Drizzle ORM), PostGIS
GIS Infrastructure: MapLibre, Leaflet; geospatial layers, styles, and permissions hosted on NextGIS Web (Dockerized), accessed via API
Storage: Amazon S3
Hosting & CI/CD: Currently Neon (database) + Vercel (compute); transitioning to AWS (likely Amplify + RDS). Candidate will actively contribute to this migration.
Version Control & DevOps: GitHub (PR-based workflow), automated build, test, and deployment via CI/CD
Requirements:
Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Information Engineering
Proven experience with at least part of the stack: TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL, Docker
Bonus experience: PostGIS, QGIS, NextGIS, or AWS services
Proficiency with Git is assumed
Work Approach:
We use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) daily. You’re expected to use them effectively: provide clear context, break tasks down, review and test generated code, and know when manual coding is preferable.
Each team member serves as the primary reference for a project, but collaboration is key. Major technical decisions are discussed and made collectively, and complex challenges are always supported by the full team.
Application:
Please include a link to your GitHub profile or a project you’ve contributed code to.
