Geographic Information Systems Analyst

I'm currently working with a very stable Oil & Gas investor who is seeking a GIS Analyst to join their team in North Dallas. This role comes with excellent benefits. Assist the Company’s business development team by creating and preparing identification maps and shapefiles for new acquisition opportunities. Amending shapefiles post-acquisition pursuant to Company title and due diligence efforts. Pulling drilling and spacing units where applicable and working with land and division order teams to properly on-board the acquired asset into Company land management software. Coordinate with the Company’s land, division order and accounting teams to ensure proper payment status, and an accurate inventory of Company owned minerals. Track newly filed permits and well migration activity across Company assets on a quarterly basis. Create and prepare maps and reports for Company investor presentations on a quarterly basis. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new GIS, AI and related software developments to stay at the forefront of GIS industry capabilities.
