GIS Analyst (Remote, Long-Term Opportunity) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12-month contract to start with strong potential for ongoing/multi-year extension and/or conversion to full-time A leading organization within the utility and energy industry is hiring multiple GIS Analysts for a 100% remote, long-term contract opportunity. This position will focus on GIS mapping and data validation using ESRI/ArcGIS Pro, including location verification, map corrections, As-Builts, and utility asset mapping. Candidates must be available to work full-time during Central Time business hours. This is a great opportunity for GIS professionals looking for long-term stability and continued growth rather than a short-term project. The team is looking for detail-oriented, analytical GIS professionals who enjoy investigating mapping discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy. Consultants will have the opportunity to support multiple types of GIS initiatives and expand their experience across service line mapping, As-Builts, and map updates.
