Job Title Geomatics Engineer (Processing & Analysing GIS Data) Missions Collect and import geospatial data from diverse sources; Convert, reproject, and structure data according to user requirements; Ensure data quality (consistency, accuracy, completeness); Correct errors and inconsistencies in geospatial data (georeferencing, topology, duplicates, etc.); Standardize and harmonize GIS data from multiple sources; Perform spatial and attribute data joins and cross-referencing; Generate GIS files adapted to user needs (formats: Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, etc.); Provide user support, guidance, and training. Requirements Education Master’s degree (BAC+5) in IT with a specialization in GIS Experience Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a similar role Soft Skills (Savoir-être) Detail-oriented and precise; Strong analytical and synthesis skills; Autonomous and proactive. Technical Skills (Savoir-faire) Proficiency in GIS software: QGIS, ArcGIS; Expertise in GIS formats and standards: Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, WMS/WFS, OGC; Competence in data processing tools: FME, GDAL/OGR, ModelBuilder; Ability to process and analyze GIS data: spatial queries, topological analysis, geostatistical modeling; Experience with raster data: satellite image analysis, DEM/DSM, basic remote sensing; Ability to write technical reports and documentation; Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (urban planners, engineers, developers, decision-makers).
