About the Role
OBJECTIVE
Ensure geospatial control of the construction project by maintaining an updated cartographic base, standardizing field data collection, and providing real-time visibility into service front progress (water, sewage, connections, and other assets), with full traceability for contract management and client reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Geoprocessing & Cartography
Edit, update, and maintain project maps and the geospatial database (networks, manholes, connections, interferences, completed stages);
Integrate and convert topographic data (surveys, as-built records, CAD files) into the GIS environment, ensuring topological and attribute quality control;
Manage the geographic database (geodatabase), including layer standards, symbology, and metadata;
Produce thematic maps and technical drawings for reports, measurements, and presentations.
Technical Survey & Topography Tracking
Monitor and verify topographic surveys conducted by field teams, ensuring consistency, completeness, and compliance with client standards;
Track survey delivery status (completed, pending, requiring corrections);
Support consolidation of the technical registry / as-built documentation for client handover.
Field Data Collection & Workflow
Design and maintain forms in Survey123 (inspections, execution logs, quality checklists, non-conformities, georeferenced photo documentation);
Configure maps and projects in ArcGIS Field Maps, including use of Field Maps Tasks to create, assign, and monitor field team tasks;
Standardize field documentation processes to ensure uniform execution and recording across all teams;
Train and support supervisors, surveyors, and technicians in the use of field applications.
Monitoring & Management
Develop dashboards (ArcGIS Dashboards / Experience Builder) for real-time tracking of physical progress, task status, and project KPIs;
Support planning and measurement teams with georeferenced quantitative execution data;
Register connection points, equipment, and newly installed infrastructure, supporting inspection and defect logging routines.
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS
Completed or in-progress undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields; OR technical certification in Geoprocessing/Surveying with proven experience;
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise;
Experience creating forms in Survey123 (including Survey123 Connect / XLSForm);
Experience with ArcGIS Field Maps;
Availability to work on-site at the project location (Itanhaém).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in sanitation projects (water and sewage networks) and technical registries for utility concessionaires, preferably following SABESP standards;
Experience with Field Maps Tasks, ArcGIS Dashboards, and Experience Builder;
Basic topography knowledge and ability to interpret planimetric and altimetric survey reports;
Familiarity with QGIS, Python/ArcPy, or workflow automation;
Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B).
